International Convention on Science, Technology and Innovation 2018

The International Convention on Science, Technology and Innovation was held in Havana, Cuba, from March 5 to 9, 2018.

Under the theme “Innovation for Sustainable Development,” the event brought together more than 1,200 Cuban delegates and nearly 200 international participants from 39 countries, with China, Vietnam, and Russia among the most represented nations.

In parallel, an exhibition fair was held with the participation of national and foreign companies, showcasing high-impact scientific and technological results.

Organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and the Agency for Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technologies, the convention took place at Havana’s Convention Palace and concluded on Friday, leaving a valuable mark on the promotion of innovation and international cooperation.
